 This week, we had two baseball games against two really good 5A and 6A schools. We were projected to lose both of them and we did, but, we fought till the end of every game and we lost to the 6A school 5-3 and got blown out 15-4 against the 5A school. This showed that we could compete against anybody if we face the adversity and play at our best. This relates to entrepreneurship because there are bigger businesses than yours but if you do your best, you can compete with your competition if you believe in yourself and follow your aspirations.

  This week at baseball practice, we did a drill for an hour because we could not make a throw to the other person. The drill was made for confidence and if you messed up three times, we all had to run even if you didn’t do anything wrong. I did not mess up once because I had confidence in myself to make a throw when not a lot of others did. As an entrepreneur you need to have confidence in yourself and in your product to make your business successful. You need to have confidence with everything you do and when you talk to people.

  This week at baseball practice, we did a bunting drill for forty minutes because none of the freshmen could lay a bunt down but all of the upperclassmen could. Therefore, for all of the bunts we missed, we had to run many buckets and do lots of push-ups and I was very tired and upset with the team. If you are doing good but the rest of the team isn’t in the business world, you need to step up and guide the team where they need to be in order to be a successful business and team. And even when you are tired, you have to do everything with a purpose.

This week, the baseball season started and all week it has been very cold and not baseball weather. It has been in the 30s and you can barely feel your hands. I learned that even though it is cold, you have to put in the work and do it with a purpose because no matter what obstacles are in your way, you have to face adversity to be better. As an entrepreneur, you have to face adversity and there are many obstacles in the way, but, you have to fight through that to make your business successful, better and efficient.
