Blog February 7

 What I learned this week that relates to entrepreneurship is time management. This was a very hard, long and stressful week and I couldn’t wait for the weekend. I had many practices, homework and quizzes and it was all piling up on me last minute. I fit it all in my schedule and I made it to the weekend. As an entrepreneur, you can not wait until the last minute for anything and you always need to be on top of your work and I learned that this week. You need to be efficient and plan your time well so you don’t get stressed out like I did this week and past weeks.

April 23

 This past week, we had a game against Pequea Valley and we won but we ended early because one player on Pequea got carted off the field and had a serious concussion. There were ambulances and paramedics it was brutal. Both teams were devastated because we didn't know how serious this injury was and we came together and prayed that he would be alright. He has a serious concussion but we thought he had a brain bleed which is much worse. As an entrepreneur, you need people by your side to help you with your struggles and I think this game was a good example for that.

April 15

  This week we played Northern Lebanon in baseball and we were winning 2-1 in the 5th inning and the game was in our hands. All of a sudden, runners were on and then we fell apart and they scored 6 runs in the 6th inning. We let mental blunders ruin that game and we lost 7-2. I was very disappointed and so were our coaches. This relates to entrepreneurship because we were up and confident and all of a sudden it all fell apart. This can happen to your business at any point and time and you have to learn to battle through the adversity and stay on top.

March 28

 This week, we had two baseball games against two really good 5A and 6A schools. We were projected to lose both of them and we did, but, we fought till the end of every game and we lost to the 6A school 5-3 and got blown out 15-4 against the 5A school. This showed that we could compete against anybody if we face the adversity and play at our best. This relates to entrepreneurship because there are bigger businesses than yours but if you do your best, you can compete with your competition if you believe in yourself and follow your aspirations.
